I found this book in the series too easy to put down, a bit of a slog in fact I couldn t understand why as the writing is as superb as the first two I have read Then I realised it was my attitude to me a Cosy Crime novel is quintessentially English and should be set in England, particularly the Cotswolds the setting in France didn t do it for me,

I like these books as light evening reading before bedtime They romp along nicely, not gory, and always with a twist at the end I think there are 12 books currently in the series so I am looking forward to number 4.

Author has really lost the plot French names and locations Doesn t work, enjoyed previous books but this just doesn t do it for me Gave up reading alter 20percent

An easy read and you don t have to think about the plotThe only problem the author hasn t quite got her dates right, one minute we are in the this century and the next the characters, were part of World War II and the ages just don t sit right Enjoyable and go with the flow.
